With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mike Tohikian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Hot Spot Capital Group. His career began in Los Angeles, CA, where he excelled as a commercial real estate broker, specializing in lease-up strategies and tenant mix optimization for value-add shopping centers throughout Southern California.
As a tenant representation broker, Mike founded Hot Spot Properties, Inc., securing exclusive market representation for renowned national brands such as McDonald’s, Popeyes, Del Taco, Denny’s, Panda Express, Jack in the Box, Wingstop, and other major retailers. Beyond brokerage, Mike has led numerous development projects, including single-tenant NNN developments and multifamily residential properties.
Mike is also a passionate real estate thought leader. He shares insights as an active real estate investing blogger and hosts the Hot Spotting Real Estate Podcast, where he explores industry trends and opportunities.
A graduate of Cal State University, Northridge, Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing, is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California, and has earned a Property Management Certification from the California Association of Realtors.
